Ms Macarthur’s role will see her lead the finance, governance and corporate, people and culture and ICT teams.

She will play a crucial role in driving the organisation forward and supporting its mission to provide homes and services that make a positive difference to people’s lives.

Ms Macarthur said: “I am excited to have joined the team at Langstane. My priority will be to understand and address the variety of challenges facing our tenants and the sector as a whole. My range of experience will provide a modern approach, in keeping with Langstane’s mission, vision and values.”

The new appointment comes as the previous director of finance and corporate services, Lynne Macfarlan, departs the Association to begin retirement. Over her time at Langstane, Ms Macfarlan has made significant contributions to the organisation earning widespread respect from colleagues and the governing body.
