Mr Strain is an experienced litigator, regularly advising clients on a broad variety of commercial and personal disputes, including debt recovery, contractual disputes, intellectual property claims and professional negligence.

He acts for a range of clients, from individuals and small owner managed businesses to larger companies. He also has a masters degree in intellectual property and the digital economy.

While he is an experienced court lawyer, regularly acting on behalf of clients in respect of proceedings in the sheriff courts and the Court of Session, he also has considerable experience in negotiation and alternative dispute resolution, providing tailored and cost-effective solutions for clients where court action may not be necessary.
