Lending Channel celebrates slew of industry accolades

The flood of professional achievements is just recognition for brothers Alistair and Murray Ewing who have grown their business by nearly 500 per cent since its launch in 2010.

The siblings achievements were hailed last week by the Bank of Scotland Business Development Team at a well-attended, glittering Glasgow ceremony that saw the firm awarded ‘Best Key Market Deal of 2015’.

That gong had barely been placed on its mantel when, a couple of days later at another glitzy affair at Crieff Hydro, the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business Star Award saw the businesse unlucky not to take top honours again as it to the final four in the Business Growth category.

The family-run firm is now hoping to go one better having also just been short-listed in the Best Small Broker category for the prestigious Loan Talk Awards for finance brokers set to take place in London in January.

Commenting on the firm’s triumphs, director, Alistair Ewing said: “These successes are fantastic endorsements of what our team can achieve in a market that still has very challenging market conditions.

“The High Street Banks are definitely open for business, but more often now we are having to direct SME clients to some of the new challenger Banks who offer a much greater degree of flexibility.”
