Lawyers Lindsays and RSB Macdonald to merge

Scottish law firms RSB macdonald and Lindsays are set to merge with effect from 6 July 2015, both companies have announced.

The merged firm, to be known as RSB Lindsays in Tayside, will have 38 partners and operate in Dundee from offices in the City Centre and West End.

The five partners from RSB macdonald who are joining the merged firm will help to offer clients a ‘wider range’ of services to help with their personal, family or business affairs, the firms said.

RSB macdonald already has offices in Dundee, while Lindsays has offices in Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and North Berwick.

Lindsays moved into larger premises in the Seabraes development just last Summer after seeing operations increase since a successful merger with Dundee legal firm Shield & Kyd in May 2012.

At the time of the move, the firm said its “ambitious targets for growth in Dundee” were being achieved.
