KPMG strengthens Scottish corporate finance practice with triple appointment

Samantha O'Neill
KPMG UK has made three key appointments to its corporate finance team in Scotland, following a recent national award win.
Samantha O’Neill has been promoted to M&A associate director, recognising her significant contributions over more than eight years with the firm. Having worked across both Aberdeen and Glasgow as part of the corporate finance team, she has advised on several high-profile transactions and plays a key role in leading the team’s focus on the consumer and leisure sectors.
Yarima Conway steps up to M&A Associate after three years with the team and six years with the firm, while Ben Coates joins as an M&A associate, transitioning from KPMG’s audit practice.
The appointments coincide with KPMG’s Scottish corporate finance team being recently named UK Corporate Finance Team of the Year at the inaugural UK Insider Dealmakers Awards. This national recognition follows their earlier success as Corporate Finance Team of the Year at the Scottish Dealmakers Awards.
