Knight Frank lists Edinburgh townhouse on the market for £4.5m
Knight Frank has listed 22 Moray Place, one of the “finest townhouses in Edinburgh” on the market for the first time in sixty years for offers over £4.5 million.
The A-listed nine-bedroom property in the city’s new town, has “breathtaking views” of Edinburgh Castle and the Firth of Forth. The home is one of the few full townhouses left in Moray Place, as many of them have been converted into apartments. After the First World War, 22 Moray Place was used as a hospital.
The property’s five floors feature spiral staircases, a billiards room, an internal atrium and a wine cellar. There are five reception rooms and five bathrooms, an attic and roof terrace, with every floor served by a 1920s lift.
The drawing room features a vaulted ceiling and has views to the castle and the small roof terrace provides a 360-degree view of the city.
Knight Frank said: “There is scope to enhance the house and bring it to a truly exceptional level.”
