Johnston Carmichael staff recognised for dedication at annual ceremony
Long-serving staff at Johnston Carmichael have been recognised for their dedication to the business at the firm’s Long Service Awards Lunch.
The event takes place every year to celebrate staff who have been employed with the firm for more than 10 years.
This year’s ceremony, held at Perth Racecourse, honoured 30 award winners with a combined service of 565 years.
Winners hailed from offices all over the country including Aberdeen, Inverness, Fraserburgh, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth, each receiving a gift and certificate to reward their achievement.
Reaching an impressive 40 years with the firm were Phyllis Davidson from Elgin, Helen Taylor from Perth and Sheila Connelly from Inverness.
Marion Beaumont in Inverurie was presented with her 35-year award, Fiona Robertson and Lorna Cruickshank from Elgin celebrated 30 years and Susan Glennie in Aberdeen marked 25 years.
Five 20-year awards were presented, along with nine awards going to those who have celebrated 15 years. 10-year awards were also collected by another nine members of staff across the business.

What hasn’t changed, however, is the dedication and hard work of our team.
“With over 850 staff, we know that what sets us apart as a firm is our people. It’s absolutely fantastic to see these levels of commitment from such a talented team, and we don’t take that loyalty for granted - we are always striving to ensure that each member of staff is empowered and supported to fulfil a job and a career path that they are passionate about.”
