Johnnie Walker and Royal Lochnagar granted Royal Warrants
Diageo whisky brands Johnnie Walker and Royal Lochnagar are among the recipients of five Royal Warrants granted for the supply of spirits and wines to the Royal Household.
Johnnie Walker’s connection to the monarchy dates back to 1934, when King George V issued them their first warrant. This new warrant from King Charles III continues this royal connection.
Other brands owned by Diageo which also received the honour were Justerini & Brooks as Wine & Spirits Merchants, Tanqueray Gordon & Company as Gin Distillers, and The Pimm’s Company.
Royal Warrants are a mark of recognition for businesses that have regularly supplied goods or services to the Royal Household. These warrants signify the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship and are a source of great pride for the brands that hold them. They are also expected to have a public commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices.
