Insights Group reports £97.6m turnover
Dundee-headquartered Insights Group has announced impressive financial results for the 2023/24 fiscal year, with a record turnover of £97.6 million, up 3.1% from the previous year.
Operating profit stood at £17.7m, reflecting an 11% decrease due to increased donations to the Insights Foundation and investments aligned with new strategic priorities.
This growth underscores the group’s commitment to driving success through innovation, sustainability, and global expansion. The Insights Group includes Insights Learning and Development as well as The Insights Foundation following the sale of Vidatec Limited in a management team buyout in February 2024.
Insights Learning and Development has 711 employees found in 17 offices around the world and accounts for over 95% of the group’s financial performance. Working with many of the world’s largest companies including Samsung, McCain, and Indeed, Insights bring self-awareness solutions to people, teams and leaders, through its well-known and colourful personality model, Insights Discovery.
Insights continues to invest in creating world class digital and in-person experiences and innovative product development to ensuring long-term value for its customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Fiona Logan, Chief executive, Insights Learning and Development, said: “These results demonstrate our close partnerships with our customers and are testimony to the dedication and creativity of our people, whose efforts are central to delivering our purpose and business goals.
“As we invest in our customer solutions and our people, we are also committing to our local communities. Adding our volunteering initiative, Gift of Time, to our strategic goals this year is one way we’re encouraging our people to give back and make a difference.
“Looking ahead, we’re excited about the opportunities to innovate, grow sustainably, and deepen our positive impact through our global customer communities. While market challenges and broader economic pressures are affecting us all, they also highlight the need to stay adaptable, agile and human - principles at the heart of our new strategy.”
Insights Learning and Development recently relaunched their Discovery Full Circle product as a complementary next step to Insights Discovery, their flagship product. The Insights Group has also set ambitious carbon targets to drive meaningful change throughout the business.
Andy Lothian, CEO of Insights Group, said: “The group’s robust performance during the last fiscal year is a measure of the impact we can have in the world.
“It has also enabled us to make a significant contribution to the Insights Foundation, to enable charitable organisations, working in areas of social need, to build more connected and compassionate communities. The Insights Foundation reaches those who have limited access to leadership development or organisational support.
“It’s our nature to nurture, and it is our belief that when businesses thrive, their communities should too. We are proud to play a part in the foundation’s mission, channelling our strong group results into actionable change.”
