HNH Partners has shared plans for growth and team expansion following a series of recent appointments.

The multi-disciplinary corporate finance advisory firm, which has flagship offices in both Belfast and Edinburgh, confirmed the growth plans as it launched a new corporate identity.

The launch of the company’s new corporate brand and vision took place at a stakeholder event at The Mac, Belfast and marks the first in a series of planned stakeholder events to be held across Northern Ireland and Scotland.

Along with a partner appointment in Belfast, the firm recently appointed former Deloitte director Roger Mayor – a specialist in corporate finance – who joins the firm’s team in Edinburgh, alongside partners Neal Allen and Harry Linklater.

William Lawrence, who spent four years working for KMPG in Copenhagen, also joined the Edinburgh team last month as assistant manager, supporting deal execution.

Wayne Horwood, managing partner and founder of HNH Partners, said: “As we continue to drive our ambitious growth plans across the UK and Ireland, we’re delighted to reaffirm our commitment to offering industry-leading financial advisory services to our growing clientele by adding to an already accomplished, experienced senior team.

“Our new corporate brand and website are just the latest elements in our growth journey – we are expanding into new markets and developing clear and strategic plans to deliver a broader service offering that evolves with the needs of our clients and the industries we serve.”

HNH Partners provides industry-leading expertise in Deal Advisory, Strategic Business Planning, Transaction Services, Debt Advisory and Taxation Services.

The firm enjoyed a record year last year, completing multiple deals ranging from £2 million to £60m, across numerous sectors from food and drink to manufacturing.

Neal Allen, partner and head of deal advisory at HNH Partners in Scotland, said: “As a unified, strengthened team in both Scotland and Northern Ireland, HNH Partners puts our clients at the forefront of everything we do and we are delighted to unveil a new brand identity which reflects our shared values, our unique client proposition and our purpose.

“In a fast-paced and increasingly challenging business environment, experience matters and HNH Partners is committed to delivering an unrivalled service to new and existing clients in the months and years ahead.”

In recent years, HNH Partners has been responsible for guiding a number of notable deals across both regions, including acting as lead advisor to the shareholders of Robinson Services on their sale to Bidvest Noonan, advising Xperience Group on its investment from Bowmark Capital and advising Sidey Solutions on their ultimate sale to Inwido AB.

The firm also recently advised on the transition of bakery and confectionery ingredients supplier R&W Scott to employee ownership, the sale of QEMS to Adler & Allen and the acquisition of Livingston-based CB Technology by Elite Electronic Systems of Northern Ireland.
