Highland Spring sets sights on £200m turnover by 2030

Scottish bottled water brand Highland Spring is set for a significant expansion after managing director Simon Oldham revealed plans to double the company’s size, fuelled by a £10 million investment in its Perthshire operations.

This investment will boost capacity by 25% and crucially, enable Highland Spring to enter the lucrative flavoured water market. The company recently launched three flavoured waters in Tesco, marking its first foray into this growing segment.

Mr Oldham is confident about Highland Spring’s growth prospects. He told The Courier: “It wasn’t that long ago we were looking upwards and saying we want to be a 500 million litre and £100m turnover business.

“We’ve now exceeded that. We’re rapidly chasing down £150m as our next threshold.

“The plan is to get to £200m no later than 2030. That’s achievable and I think we can get there sooner.”

He emphasised the company’s commitment to agility and speed, key factors in competing against global giants like Coke and Nestle.
