Highland and Islands Airports Limited appoints three board members from financial sector
Highlands and Islands Airports Limited has appointed three new board members from the financial sector.
Eric Hollanders’ most recent position was that of CEO of a Dutch Bank, Loraine Strachan is a chartered accountant who completed her training with Ernst & Young in South Africa and Isabel Todenhoefer is a finance and M&A expert.
In his role as CEO of a Dutch Bank, Mr Hollanders spend his time setting the strategy, managing stakeholder relationships, setting budgets and delivering against them and ensuring they had the appropriate structure and governance in place.
Ms Loraine Strachan’s career has progressed from audit and management accounting roles through to finance and HR director roles.
She was the Finance Manager at the logistics arm of Capespan in South Africa in her earlier career, and vice president finance and HR at Menzies Aviation (part of John Menzies Plc) for Africa and the Middle East.
She is currently a trustee and chair of the Finance Committee for Impact Arts and is a finance and HR consultant in the private and public sectors.
Ms Todenhoefer has more than 12 years of experience in the aviation industry, where she worked as head of M&A at Deutsche Lufthansa AG in Frankfurt. After leaving Lufthansa she co-founded the real estate financing platform Everge Financing Sl based in Madrid.
