Henderson Loggie has further strengthened its forensic services team with the appointment of forensic accounting and investigations expert Peter Graham.

Mr Graham takes up his position as Director with effect from May 1 2017 from his current role at Begbies Traynor Group where he was responsible for Forensic Accounting Services for Scotland.

Prior to that he held senior forensic posts at Grant Thornton and PwC.

A well-known expert witness accountant, he has a long and successful career in fraud and false accounting investigation both in the UK and abroad. He is regularly selected by the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland (ICAS) to act as Expert Determiner in disputes.

Greig Rowand, Partner and head of forensic at Henderson Loggie, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Peter to the firm. He brings with him a wealth of sector experience across diverse industries, from food and drink to tourism and construction, and has been one of Scotland’s recognised experts in forensic investigation for many years.

His appointment is part of our exciting plans for further growth of the firm’s forensic accounting services. His particular interest and success in investigations will make him an asset to the team, and to the firm as a whole.”

Mr Graham said: “I am thrilled to be joining such a dynamic firm with a full service offering and a zest for assisting clients with both proven and innovative practical solutions”.

Mr Graham’s appointment is the latest in a series of moves to further develop Henderson Loggie’s forensic accounting team following the recent promotion of Brian Miller to Director.
