Hampden & Co boosts leadership team with Claire Mann to spearhead client relations
Edinburgh-headquartered private bank Hampden & Co has appointed Claire Mann as the head of client proposition.
Ms Mann, with her extensive background in private banking and client relationship management, is set to lead the bank’s client relationship management (CRM) programme. This strategic move aims to bolster Hampden & Co’s commitment to providing exceptional client service and nurturing enduring client relationships. She will report to Andrew Bell, chief commercial officer at the bank.
Ms Mann joins Hampden & Co from Handelsbanken where she was senior operations and programme manager responsible for the design, implementation and management of CRM. She has also held senior operational and CRM roles at NatWest, KPMG and HSBC.
In its first half 2023 results released in August, Hampden & Co reported client numbers were up 8% to more than 5,000, with a sharp rise in referrals from professional partners.
In line with growing client demand, Hampden & Co has continued to add to its banking, senior management and support teams throughout 2023. This includes Mark Plummer, who joined as head of private banking in London, and John Glanville and Patrick Preece who joined as banking directors.
Ms Mann said: “Hampden & Co is seeing strong client growth through its relationship-based approach and a clear vision of how to continue providing exceptional levels of service as this growth continues.
“I very much look forward to enhancing the bank’s client relationship management capabilities and driving growth through even more compelling relationships.”
Mr Bell added: “We are delighted to welcome Claire to the Hampden & Co team. She brings an extensive knowledge of private banking and a proven ability to develop compelling client propositions.
“This appointment reflects our continued commitment to the quality of the experience we deliver for our clients.”
