Gresham House Forestry appoints two new directors
Perth-based Gresham House Forestry Ltd, the forestry asset management division of specialist asset manager Gresham House plc, has promoted Matthew Giles and Rob Carlow to Director.
Mr Giles is a chartered forester with over 12 years’ experience.
He specialises in asset management having gained practical experience as a forest manager for extensive areas in Scotland, South Wales and, North England.
Mr Carlow is an investment and economic analyst at GHF and leads the forestry acquisitions team.
At the same time, Jon Strickland, managing director of GHF, will be joining the board of Gresham House Asset Management Ltd, a subsidiary of Gresham House plc responsible for the Company’s range of differentiated and illiquid alternative investment strategies including forestry, private equity and public equity.
Rupert Robinson, Chairman of GHF, said: “These appointments recognise the growing size and importance of this asset class to the Gresham House group following the appointment of Richard Davidson earlier this year as lead fund manager and Chairman of the Forestry Investment Committee.”
