Grant Thornton announces Glasgow director rehire
Grant Thornton has appointed a new associate director in its Scottish practice as it eyes further growth in the central belt.
Paul McGettrick makes his return to the leading business and financial advisor, joining from Bank of Scotland.
The ICAS qualified Chartered Accountant has more than a decade of experience assessing, structuring and executing corporate transactions and financing.
Mr McGettrick will be based at Grant Thornton’s Glasgow office where he’ll provide Corporate Finance advice and support to a range of clients – a role he’s already familiar with, having worked as a Corporate Finance Manager for the firm until 2008.
He said: “Grant Thornton has some pretty ambitious, exciting growth plans and I couldn’t resist returning to the business that I cut my teeth in. There’s a real sense of direction and purpose within the firm right now and that’s demonstrated in the new city centre offices I’ll be based at. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in and working with some of the most dynamic, growth hungry businesses in Scotland.”
