Glasgow-based KubeNet, an internet service provider and managed IT specialist, has acquired Aberdeen company ISN Solutions Group.

This acquisition, finalised on 4 April, represents a key step in KubeNet’s ongoing expansion strategy, which combines organic growth with targeted acquisitions, boosted by a recent £2.25 million investment from Maven Capital Partners.

The move is set to enhance KubeNet’s service offerings and extend its geographical reach across the UK, particularly strengthening its presence in North-East Scotland – a strategically important region where ISN has built a strong reputation serving SMEs and corporate clients, notably in the energy and professional services sectors.

Joining KubeNet allows ISN access to a broader range of capabilities, including KubeNet’s advanced Next Generation Network, enhanced connectivity, voice, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure solutions.

KubeNet director Fraser Ferguson said: “The acquisition of ISN is a natural fit for KubeNet, bringing together two businesses with a shared customer focus.”

ISN Solutions Group will continue operating under its current name during an initial transition phase before fully integrating into the KubeNet brand. Clients and suppliers have been assured that points of contact and service delivery will remain unchanged in the short term, with operational alignment planned progressively.
