The move strengthens Electiva’s position in the rapidly growing market for surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures.

La Belle Forme, located at the Glasgow Day Surgery Centre, offers a wide range of treatments, including facelifts, breast augmentation, liposuction, and rhinoplasty, alongside non-surgical options like wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, and laser procedures.

The acquisition provides Electiva with an additional hospital site to expand its existing services, which include day case elective surgery, healthcare screening, and hormonal treatments such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT). It also allows the company to leverage the expertise of La Belle Forme’s clinical director, consultant plastic surgeon Taimur Shoaib, across its network.

Electiva, part of the Y1 Capital healthcare portfolio, plans to introduce comprehensive health assessment packages with on-site laboratory testing and ultrasound scanning at its facilities, providing rapid access to same-day care.
