Glasgow firm scoops Credit & Collections Technology Award

Glasgow-based Ascent Performance Group has won the Legal Software Solution Award at the inaugural Credit & Collections Technology Awards 2017.

The awards have been launched to find innovation and technology which best supports customer outcome.

Winners and finalists in 16 categories are those recognised as leading the way in enhancing credit and collections technology.

Categories, assessed by a select panel of 10 judges, included Innovation in Collections, Lending solution, Credit Risk solution, Best Anti-Fraud solution, Best Collections solution, Best Affordability Assessment solution and The Legal Software solution.

Speaking about Ascent’s win, Chairman Mark Higgins, said: “This award underpins the commitment from everyone at Ascent, and the continued investment into our business to ensure we deliver market leading solutions which safeguard the interest of customers at all times.”

Ascent, which is based in the heart of Glasgow near the Central Train Station, are a specialist law firm and financial services business providing services including litigation and debt recovery across the UK. The company is part of the Irwin Mitchell Group.

The award adds to Ascent’s impressive number of award wins in 2017.

These wins include last month’s win in Manchester at the Collections & Customer Service Awards, where the firm won Best Judicial and Legal Services Provider, and October’ s success at the Credit Excellence Awards in London, where Ascent won the prestigious Compliance and Best Customer Outcomes Award.
