Gallagher invests in expanded presence in Edinburgh city
Insurance broker Gallagher has relocated its Edinburgh operations to a new city centre office.
The move to fully refurbished premises at Waverley Gate, Waterloo Place brings together over 90 employees from various divisions, including insurance broking, employee benefits, and claims management, under one roof.
The larger premises reflect Gallagher’s commitment to supporting businesses in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas, where it has experienced strong growth since its establishment in 1997.
The new office will foster a collaborative environment and provide clients with access to a wide range of specialist knowledge. This includes expertise in risk management, complex insurance requirements, claims, employee benefits, and asset management.
As well as this regional hub in Edinburgh, Gallagher has further offices across Scotland including in Glasgow, Aberdeen, the Isle of Skye, Irvine and Portree and employs around 750 people across the country.
Grant Casey, managing director of Gallagher’s Edinburgh office, said: “This investment underlines our commitment to the city and to providing businesses in the region with on-the-ground risk management, insurance and consulting knowledge, coupled with local insight to help firms across the region and beyond protect and grow their businesses.
“The move will bring together our team capabilities and breadth of specialist knowledge for the benefit of our customers and we look forward to continuing to serve our clients with the highest level of professionalism and service from our new city centre office. We also see this as a massive commitment to our people who will enjoy the benefits of working in this prime location.”
