FRP opens new Glasgow office
Specialist business advisory firm FRP has announced the launch of its new Glasgow office at The Beacon, 176 St Vincent Street, in the heart of the city centre.
The move follows FRP’s appointment of partners Michelle Elliot and Stuart Robb in 2021, and will see a 13-strong team now based in Glasgow.
Commenting on the move, Michelle Elliot, partner at FRP, said: “Since joining FRP, we’ve really hit the ground running and have been able to strengthen the support we provide clients by tapping into the firm’s national network and its expertise across the full suite of restructuring advisory services.
“Having an on-the-ground presence in the heart of Glasgow now means we can take that a step further as we create a space where our team can come together and collaborate, as well as providing an opportunity for us to meet with clients and contacts across the professional services community.”
Savills and joint agents Avison Young acted on behalf of the landlord, Robt. Jones Holdings, and completed the letting of the 2nd floor suite at the newly refurbished building. The deal sees FRP take more than 2,000 sq ft on a five-year lease.
Colin McGhee, associate director in the office agency team at Savills Glasgow, commented: “Following a meticulous refurbishment programme to deliver a much-needed Grade A office accommodation to Glasgow, we are delighted to complete the letting to FRP, a well-established business who are growing their Glasgow presence.”
Fergus MacLennan, director at Cushman and Wakefield, who advised the tenant, added: “The Beacon is the perfect building as FRP establish their first Glasgow office in the City, with open plan modern office space and an excellent corner position on one of Glasgow’s most prestigious office addresses.”
The Beacon has recently undergone a comprehensive refurbishment programme and offers Grade A office accommodation with only two suites remaining, ranging from 1,850 sq ft to c. 4,500 sq ft.
The building now provides full height glazing, a new energy efficient air-conditioning system, an enhanced EPC rating of B, communal shower facilities and a remodelled reception.
