FRP Advisory appointed liquidators at Falkirk car firm

Tom MacLennan and Iain Fraser of FRP Advisory have been appointed joint provisional liquidators at Falkirk auto-goods retailer MTH Group.

The 48-year old business, which provided a range of specialist engineering services, said competition from online has resulted in “unsustainable cashflow issues”.

The company, which was also a specialist in the commercial vehicle market for speed limiter, tachograph, MOT, camera and air conditioning installations, has made all 20 staff members redunadant.

It said it has called in the FRP pair to sell down assets such as vehicles, specialist plant and equipment.

Companies House records show Royal Bank of Scotland transferred a bond and floating charge over all the companies property to RBS Invoice Finance in June of this year.
