French Duncan promotes director to partnership

Scottish accountancy firm French Duncan has promoted director Harry Linklater to partner with immediate effect.

Linklater joined French Duncan in 2011 having held various advisory roles within Big Four and mid-tier firms, as well as having worked within the banking sector.

As part of a central belt corporate advisory team based within the firm’s Edinburgh office, he has advised on a variety of corporate finance assignments, including acquisitions, disposals, due diligence, share valuation and fundraising.

Commenting on his promotion to partner and broadening of role to encompass French Duncan’s Entrepreneurial Services division, Linklater said: “With a background and focus on advising the SME market and family owned businesses, with experience gained from acting on transactions within food and drink, leisure and hospitality, property and construction materials and professional services sectors, I look forward to working on a close ongoing basis with entrepreneurs to help realise their business ambitions in my new role.”
