Scottish accountancy practice French Duncan has donated £10,000 to the Scottish Centre for Children with Motor Impairments.

The substantial donation was presented to Anne Taylor, administration officer at the Scottish Centre for Children with Motor Impairments, by French Duncan’s Graeme Finnie, Linda Kelly, Caroline Healy, Christine Thomson, Steven Weir and Craig Allison.

Based at the Craighalbert Centre in Cumbernauld, the Scottish Centre for Children with Motor Impairments provides educational and therapy services for children and young people throughout Scotland affected by cerebral palsy and related conditions, which result in disorders of movement and communication.

Graeme Finnie, French Duncan Managing Partner, said: “Involvement in our communities is exceptionally important at French Duncan. We aim to make a real and sustainable difference in a way that truly reflects our people by drawing on their interests and skills. Properly implemented CSR policies motivate staff, strengthen client relationships and have a positive impact on local communities.

“To that end, we are delighted to make this donation of £10,000 to such a worthy beneficiary as the Scottish Centre for Children with Motor Impairments.”

French Duncan is one of the most progressive accountancy practices in Scotland with 18 partners, a fee income of over £10 million, nearly 200 employees and a network of offices spanning Scotland’s Central Belt.
