FRC publishes letters concerning Brexit transitioning period for accountants and auditors
The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) and Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) have published joint letters for accountants and auditors with information regarding auditing, accounting and corporate reporting standards during the transition period following the UK’s exit from the EU.
The information for accountants details information for UK incorporated companies and groups, UK public companies with a UK listing, UK companies with a cross-border presence in the EEA, audit committees, EEA incorporated companies and groups and EEA public companies with UK listings.

It details issues relating to recognition, ongoing audits, third-country auditors, EU audit regulation and firm ownership.
