FRC launch recruitment videos to help fill 80 new openings
The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has initiated a recruitment drive in an attempt to fill 80 new openings.
With over 80 new positions being created in the 2019/20 financial year alone, the FRC has emphasised that there are significant opportunities for a broad range of candidates to play a key role working in the public interest on high-profile issues.
To showcase the range of opportunities available, the FRC has launched a series of videos to highlight the benefits of working at the FRC, featuring new chief executive, Sir Jon Thompson.
As the FRC begins its transition into a new regulator with strengthened powers and responsibilities - known as the Audit, Reporting and Governance, Authority (ARGA) - there will be even greater opportunities for staff to help grow, and shape, the organisation.
Jenny Waterman, head of HR at the FRC, said: “As the FRC expands in both our remit and size, we are looking for candidates from a range of backgrounds to play a key role in shaping the future of the FRC and in promoting the UK as a great place to do business. The FRC is committed to championing equality and diversity across all areas of our work and promotes flexible working to recruit and retain high-quality people.”
The 80 new roles are across a variety of departments and levels. The increase in staff is designed to meet the FRC’s increased supervisory responsibilities, including boosting the FRC’s Enforcement and audit inspection teams.
