Four new partners among raft of promotions at Stronachs
The firm, which has 19 partners and some 90 lawyers and support staff between its offices in Aberdeen and Inverness, is one of the largest independent law firms head-quartered in the North-east.
All four partners step up from senior associate, having built their careers with the firm: Inverness-based Ross Linn, in corporate and commercial; Jaclyn Russell, in private client; and Bob McDiarmid in dispute resolution, both in Aberdeen, were assumed as partners from June 1.
Emma Stephen, from Stronachs’ commercial property team in Aberdeen, will be assumed as a partner on her return from maternity leave, on September 1.
The firm has also promoted commercial property lawyer Bess Innes; corporate and energy lawyers Callum Armstrong and Laura Bisset; dispute resolution team member Jennifer Love; and employment lawyer Rowan Alexander, to senior solicitor.
Stronachs’ managing partner, David Rennie, said: “After more than two years of ongoing adjustment due to the lower oil price, we are starting to see positive movement in the economy.
“Against that background these appointments recognise our vision for the future of the firm, which will be realised through the achievements of the talented lawyers we have at our disposal.
“Ross, Jaclyn, Bob and Emma each have a vital role to play in leading our service offering to key clients, while offering counsel and support to the generation following them on the career ladder.
