Former Standard Life directors join Old Mutual Wealth

Old Mutual Wealth has appointed ex-Standard Life bosses Russell Bignall and Sean Mcguire to its newly-created business development director positions.

Mr Bignall was most recently strategic director at BNY Mellon after spending a decade at Edinbrugh-based Standard Life.

Mr Mcguire, meanwhile, joins directly from the insurance giant where he was investment sales director in the Middle East.

Old Mutual Wealth managing director Scott Goodsir said: “Market conditions are fantastic for financial advisers and we are expanding our team to help them capitalise on the growth opportunities.
