Former Formula 1 executive Mark Gallagher to address free risk, resilience and reputation conference
A senior executive from the world of Formula 1, Mark Gallagher, will be a key speaker at law firm CMS’s free Risk, Resilience and Reputation (RRR) conference next month.
Providing his insights on “Winning with Resilience”, Mr Gallagher will address the half-day event on 2 October 2019, which is being staged at the law firm’s Edinburgh office.
The RRR programme is tailored for business and provides a commercial and practical perspective on the full spectrum of legal and regulatory challenges organisations face. Specialist lawyers from CMS’s Scottish and London offices will also be on hand to highlight the latest legal developments, focusing on how these apply within the commercial world.
Mr Gallagher’s career in Formula One included more than a decade on the management board of the successful, race-winning Jordan Grand Prix team. He subsequently established the commercial arm of Red Bull Racing before heading the world-famous Cosworth Formula 1 engine business.
During his career, he has worked with many of the sport’s leading drivers, including Scotland’s David Coulthard and renowned World Champions Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher and Mika Hakkinen.
Colin Hutton, partner and disputes resolution specialist at CMS, said: “We’re delighted to have Mark Gallagher in our line-up for the RRR event. He’s an experienced business speaker who has established a successful and diverse career within motor racing. We look forward to hearing his relevant insights on harnessing resilience as well as managing risk and reputation within the high profile world of Formula One.”
