Fitzallan strengthens advisory team with senior appointment

Glasgow-based accountancy firm Fitzallan Limited has announced the appointment of Gill Hunter to its financial planning and investment advisory business.

The firm said Ms Hunter will continue to advise clients directly and will work closely with professional connections, co-advising high-net-worth private clients, their families and trusts on financial and investment matters.

She brings 30 years’ experience in the industry to Fitzallan, the last 11 of which spent with Grant Thornton UK LLP as a wealth adviser.

Fitzallan directors, Neil Brennan and Gregor Johnston, said they were “delighted with the appointment of such a highly-regarded and experienced professional”.

Fitzallan, which continues to expand having recently upsized its Glasgow city-centre offices, said it also intends to add an experienced paraplanner to the team in the near future.
