Ferguson Oliver was founded by Mike Ferguson in 1989, and he was subsequently joined by his twin brother Ken, with the two of them being the joint owners.

The company has been a prominent feature in the local community for the past 30 years supporting many local charities and events. They look after clients in the North-East of Scotland, from as far north as Inverness to as far south as Perth.

Chase de Vere acquired Ferguson Oliver in October 2019. The integration is now complete, with client propositions and computer systems fully aligned. From today, the company trades as Chase de Vere.

Mike Ferguson is also actively involved in the curling community, being the owner of Forfar Ice Rink and chairman of the Scottish Ice Rink Association, while Ken Ferguson is the chairman of Brechin City Football Club and also sits on the board of the Scottish Professional Football League and the Professional Game Board of the Scottish FA.
