‘Fife property market going from strength to strength’ - CKD Galbraith

Fife is fast becoming one of Scotland’s property hotspots, according to one local estate agent.

CKD Galbraith has reported a “Spring surge” in activity across the region and this is expected to continue throughout the summer months.

Partner George Lorimer, who leads the firm’s Fife residential team, said: “I can only describe the recent activity in the local market as being phenomenal. In addition to very high levels of sales activity, the lettings market has also been very lively.

“Fife offers some terrific properties and has a number of really sought-after hotspots like St Andrews, Elie and the East Neuk. There is clear evidence that factors such as the forthcoming opening of the Queensferry Crossing and V&A museum in Dundee are having a really positive effect on the county.”

CKD Galbraith’s residential department for Fife, based in Cupar town centre, has recently relocated to an new prominent office to cater for increased demand. The firm has also strengthened its residential team.

Dominic Wedderburn has been promoted to associate.

He brings over 20 years of experience in the property sector and has unrivalled local knowledge, having grown up in the area and attended Dundee High School.
