ESPC announces new season of property podcasts
Property portal ESPC has launched the fourth season of its podcast, The ESPC Property Show, as well as the launch of a themed spin-off series for first-time buyers, ESPC’s First-Timers Club.
Hosted by ESPC’s CEO Paul Hilton and Megan Milne, the fourth season of The ESPC Property Show will launch on Thursday 5 September. The series is packed with episodes tailored to buying, selling, owning, and maintaining properties, with the podcast acting as an informative, accessible, and friendly guide to the Scottish property market. The podcast is available to stream as a traditional audio podcast, as well as a video recording for those who prefer a visual format.
Podcast guests will include property experts and solicitor estate agents from ESPC member firms providing invaluable insights into the market and more, joining Paul and Megan to offer their insights and advice across a vast array of subjects – from how divorce affects property ownership, to an overview of the lettings market and how retrofitting a property can save money on energy bills.
In the first episode of the season, Paul and Megan discuss the local housing market across the summer months, as well as examining the latest research released by ESPC, which looks at where home buyers live when they make a property purchase, to see how buyers move across the regions.
Meanwhile, ESPC’s First-Timers Club podcast launched on Monday 2 September, hosted by Megan Milne and looking specifically at the themes and issues all first-time buyers should know about, to help them power up their property searches. The podcast will also feature episodes with real first-time buyers as guests, sharing their experiences of buying their first home in the current housing market.
The first episode looks at everything first-timers need to know about getting a mortgage, with the following episodes covering topics such as how much money to save for a property, the process of securing a solicitor, and how to understand a Home Report.
Paul Hilton, ESPC’s CEO and host of the podcast, said: “The ESPC Property Show has enjoyed a fantastic reception throughout the previous three seasons, and so it’s great to be returning for our fourth series. The podcast acts as a fantastic, interactive and accessible way for ESPC to guide and inform buyers, sellers and homeowners at every stage of their property journey about a vast array of topics.
“We have some fantastic guests joining us during this series and we’re covering a range of fascinating topics that we know our audience will be keen to find out more about. I’m excited to welcome back our regular listeners and hopefully reach a brand-new audience with season four too – alongside, of course, those beginning their property journeys tuning into our brand-new series, ESPC’s First-Timers Club.”
The first episode of the third series of The ESPC Property Show launches on Thursday 5 September, with new episodes dropping each Thursday, while ESPC’s First-Timers Club launched on Monday 2 September, again with weekly episodes every Monday. The episodes are available to stream or download wherever you get your podcasts and are also available to watch as a ‘visual podcast’ on ESPC’s YouTube channel.
