EQ Accountants promotes 33 in major growth push
EQ Accountants has promoted 33 team members as it continues to expand its client base following a period of growth and expansion.
The wave of promotions highlights the dedication and hard work of the staff, whose contributions have played a key part in the business setting out its ambitious growth strategy to triple turnover in the next five years.
Among those advancing in their roles are individuals from the technical services, business services, and central teams underscoring the firm’s dedication to nurturing talent across all departments.
“These promotions reflect our commitment to talent development and internal growth,” said Julia Brown, head of people and culture at EQ Accountants. “Our team members are the cornerstone of our success, and their advancement demonstrates our belief in fostering talent from within.”
In the technical services team, notable promotions include Kelly Meiklejohn and Anna Coff to senior managers, and Greg Stapley to partner. The business services team sees Ruth Phillips appointed as assistant manager and Jane Black as senior manager. Within the central teams, Liam Cruickshank assumes the role of head of internal finance, among others.
Celebrating a significant milestone, EQ Accountants also recognises the recent promotion of admin manager, Gillian Mitchell to senior manager.
Ms Mitchell, who has been with the firm for 26 years this year, said: “It has been an incredible journey with EQ Accountants, and I’m honoured to have been a part of this remarkable organisation for over two decades.
“This promotion signifies not only my personal growth but also the opportunities and support EQ provides to its employees.”
These advancements come at a pivotal moment for EQ Accountants following its recent merger with Douglas Home & Co, which not only expands the firm’s geographical footprint but also positions it for sustained growth in the coming years.
