EQ accountant Peter Southcott new President of Fife Chamber
Well known Glenrothes accountant Peter Southcott, a partner with EQ Accountants, has been elected President of Fife Chamber of Commerce.
Members of the business support organisation elected Mr Southcott as president at the group’s AGM at the Bay Hotel in Kinghorn last week.
Mr Southcott, who had previously acted as vice-president of the chamber, said: “It is a privilege to serve as president of Fife chamber of commerce. We have a passionate and energetic team led by our new Chief Executive, Alan Mitchell who are there to support members and assist their businesses to grow.”
He added: “The Chamber is the voice of business. No matter what size of business you are the Chamber gives you a voice to the politician in the Scottish Parliament via our membership of Scottish Chambers of Commerce and to the UK Parliament via our membership of the British Chambers of Commerce.
“The Chamber can help you grow your business in Scotland and in the rest of the UK via its network of contacts with other Chambers across the country. So whether you trade locally, in Scotland, the UK or Internationally the Chamber should be your fist port of call.”
