Scotland’s entrepreneurs are set to benefit from a major new partnership between provider of personalised wealth management services Cazenove Capital and Entrepreneurial Scotland.
Cazenove Capital has teamed up with Entrepreneurial Scotland to become a corporate partner and will act as lead sponsor at Entrepreneurial Scotland’s annual conference next week which brings together 300 of Scotland’s business leaders.
The ES Summit will take place on Thursday 4th May at the Gleneagles Hotel focusing on the theme of scale-ups and Cazenove Capital will have an integral role.
ES Summit speakers include:
Entrepreneurial Scotland’s networks include more than 1,000 of Scotland’s current and future entrepreneurial leaders, who collectively employ more than 150,000 people and generate revenues of around £17 billion a year.
Entrepreneurial Scotland’s corporate partners provide its members with access to expertise, experience and resources to help them grow and scale their businesses.
Cazenove Capital joins the ES group of corporate partners that includes: accountancy firms EY and Johnston Carmichael; law firms Pinsent Masons and Turcan Connell; economic development agency Scottish Enterprise and the leading investment bank UBS.
Bob Hair, wealth planning director and head of Cazenove Capital’s Edinburgh office, said: “Entrepreneurs are fast becoming key drivers of Scotland’s future prosperity. We have been helping entrepreneurs preserve and grow the wealth created through their endeavours for over 200 years. Our client’s future prosperity is our focus and we are delighted to support Entrepreneurial Scotland (ES) - making our global experience, local resources and network available to ES members.”
Sandy Kennedy, CEO of Entrepreneurial Scotland, added: “We limit our corporate partners to key organisations with a significant presence in the Scottish business community, a track record of backing entrepreneurial leaders and for encouraging business growth, and who can offer distinct value to our members.
“We welcome Cazenove’s expertise, experience and resources to help to fulfil our vision by inspiring and developing Scotland’s entrepreneurial leaders and achieving our ambition of Scotland becoming the most entrepreneurial society in the world.”
Entrepreneurial Scotland recently announced it is also joining forces with The Hunter Foundation and Scotland CAN DO to deliver a new scale-up leadership programme.
This initiative aims to respond to the growing body of evidence that Scotland needs to increase the number of scale-up companies as a means to create more high quality jobs, improve productivity and drive overall economic growth.
