Emma Robertson joins from modular construction specialists, The Wee Housing Company. A chartered accountant and graduate of the University of Strathclyde, she trained with global management consultancy PWC, and has worked in private practice, manufacturing, construction and the distilling industries.

Ayrshire Housing chief executive Lesley-Anne Junner welcomed Ms Robertson to the team.

“Emma brings a wealth of experience from a variety of sectors to Ayrshire Housing, and we are excited for her to be joining the senior leadership team just as we are ready to launch our new five-year business plan,” she said.

Ayrshire Housing has recently completed 25 new build properties in Tarbolton and its new business plan will detail further expansion proposals.

Ayrshire Housing was established in 2003 through the merger of Carrick Housing Association and South Ayrshire Homes. Since then it has grown rapidly to become one of the area’s leading providers of high quality, affordable rented housing managing 1700 homes in both urban and rural environments.

Ms Robertson added: “I am delighted to be joining the team at Ayrshire Housing and really looking forward to getting to know them and working collaboratively to make the most of our combined experience.”

Ms Robertson has just started her new role as finance director with Ayrshire Housing.
