Edinburgh-based CBS Consulting reports 110 per cent revenue growth
Edinburgh-based financial services consultancy CBS Consulting has reported 110 per cent growth in its revenues in a year dominated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The company provides change management advice and support to UK financial services companies in the areas of business transformation and digital, regulatory and operational change.
Demand for services from its digital and transformation division “surged” in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, the company said.
CBS has offered clients specialist, detailed assistance to ensure that they are able to digitally adapt their platforms at a greater speed than would normally be the case.
Kevin Withers was recently appointed as director and head of payments at CBS, bringing with him 25 years’ experience of integrating and managing core banking and payments systems at Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks.
Eddie Curran, managing director of CBS Consulting, said: “The pandemic has required the transformation towards digital working to be significantly faster than at any other time.
“Our customers need this speed, but they also need to know that it can be done reliably, without any detriment to the service they provide their customers. They need to feel confident nothing is going to slip through the cracks.
“This is where our experience combined with our size has given us an advantage. We have ourselves been small enough to adapt quickly, but large enough to offer senior-level support across a growing client base.
“It is that uniqueness which has led to this huge revenue growth.”
