Global accounting leaders discuss AI and sustainability at PrimeGlobal forum in Edinburgh
International business leaders conference, the PrimeGlobal Business Leader Forum, exploring the impact of artificial intelligence and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors on the future of businesses worldwide, recently took place in Edinburgh.
The 3-day event, organised by Scottish member firms Henderson Loggie and Hall Morrice, attracted more than 160 accountants and business advisers from 19 countries, including the US, Japan, Nigeria, El Salvador, Singapore, and various European nations.
Key discussions revolved around how businesses can meet sustainability objectives and the increasing demands of investors concerning ESG factors. The panel discussions, led by Gavin Black, partner at Henderson Loggie, focused on the role of new technology trends and their capacity to drive innovation and business growth.
Led by Mark de Lat of Eshuis Accountants en Adviseurs in The Netherlands, co-author of PrimeGlobal’s B Corp Workbook, delegates also explored the benefits of adopting B Corp principles, balancing purpose and profit to strengthen brand reputation.
