Launched today, Buy Angus, led by Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce (DACC) and Angus Council, is putting the spotlight on the diverse range of independent retailers, highlighting how easy it is to shop for gifts this Christmas while supporting local business.

Montrose-based Sup2summit is the leading outdoor activity provider in Angus. Specialising in stand up paddle boarding, bushcraft and rock climbing they have now focused their offering between Aberdeen and Dundee ensuring minimal travelling, while encouraging people who live in the area to explore the hidden gems right on their doorstep.

As well as extending open hours, increasing browsing space and creating a delivery service, many retailers have increased or launched their digital presence with online shopping options, such as Redcastle Gin who are offering facetime shopping appointments.
