Dunedin Advisory celebrates 2023 apprenticeship week with newest team member
Celebrating Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2023, Dundedin Advisory has introduced its newest team member — Harry Smith.
As an apprentice, Harry, who began his training in January, is a full-time employee of Dunedin Advisory working towards gaining his qualification in visual application support.
Michell Anderson, operations manager, said: “Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to develop the workforce, teaching current and new employees valuable skills whilst allowing them to gain qualifications they may not otherwise have had access to.”
Harry is the fourth modern apprentice at Dunedin Advisory, with all previous apprentices successfully graduating with their qualifications. The firm recognises an apprenticeship is a terrific way to kickstart a career and works closely with partner agencies supporting apprentices throughout their journey.
A company spokesperson said: “We are delighted to work with Harry as he gains specialist knowledge in the world of restructuring and insolvency. Outside of work, Harry is passionate about music, having taken up the guitar 5 years ago.”
Harry added: “I’ve been with Dunedin Advisory for two months now and I’m feeling really comfortable settling into the new environment.
“Everybody here has been really nice, making sure I get used to my new job with every new challenge that comes along.”
