Double award success for Infinity Partnership
Aberdeen accountancy firm Infinity Partnership has scooped accolades at two separate awards events.
The firm has taken the honours at the UK Best Strategic Business Advice category in the Corporate Livewire Innovation and Excellence Awards 2017, and been named Best M&A Tax Advisory Firm – UK in the 2017 Accounting, Audit & Tax Awards.
Managing director Simon Cowie said: “These latest awards reflect the talent, professionalism and dedication of the Infinity team. I’m proud of the consistently excellent levels of service delivery we attain on behalf of clients, and I’m delighted to see those recognised through these award successes.”
The Innovation and Excellence Awards are a key element of the Corporate LiveWire awards portfolio, recognising winners for their innovative ideas, global involvement, products and services.
The 2017 Accounting, Audit and Tax Awards, organised by Acquisition International magazine, honour businesses in the tax sector which work to provide an exceptional quality of service.
These most recent accolades come in the wake of success for Simon at the 2016 British Accountancy Awards, where he was named Practitioner of the Year.
Infinity was shortlisted in two other categories at the same awards.
Greg Houston was highly commended in the New Practitioner of the Year category for the second year in a row, while Infinity was also an Independent Firm of the Year (Scotland) finalist – an award the business won in 2015.
In addition, the business was a finalist in three categories at last year’s Scottish Accountancy and Finance Awards. Simon was named Scottish Dealmaker of the Year in 2009 and 2014.
The firm offers accountancy services, research and development tax solutions, business advisory services, start-up advice and tax planning among its services.
Infinity, which has a client retention rate of 99.5 per cent, has experienced significant growth as a result of realigning its business to focus on research and development tax credits, and investing in its accountancy software and cloud-based technology solutions.
The business now has more than 1,000 clients from Shetland to Southampton and has completed projects in the United States, Australia and the Middle East.
