Chartered surveyor DM Hall has welcomed four colleagues to the partnership.

The four, Mark Rutherford, Felicity Forbes-Davidson, Steven Leith, and Charles Metcalf are from varied geographical locations and are representative of the extent and breadth of the firm’s business both in Scotland and England.

Mr Rutherford manages the firm’s Ayrshire and south west Scotland operations and has been with DM Hall for 15 years, having taken the reins of the Ayr office four years ago.

Ms Forbes-Davidson, based in the residential department of the Aberdeen office, manages a growing team of residential surveyors in the north east of Scotland.

Mr Leith originally worked with DM Hall in Fife, then ran the Livingston office before it merged with the firm’s Falkirk hub office in late 2023 to create a significant and larger operation serving the entire West Lothian market.

Mr Metcalf, an experienced London-trained building surveyor, is based in the Kendal office in Cumbria, which became part of DM Hall when it was acquired in 2023. His workload and client connections take him all over Cumbria and across the UK.

Alan Gordon, senior partner of DM Hall, said: “These appointments are a fitting reward for their significant contributions in their own particular roles and the professionalism, enthusiasm and drive they bring to the business.

“All of our new partners have been promoted from within the business, reflecting the opportunities that continue to exist for career progression throughout the country and across all sectors in DM Hall.

“Andrew Milne, Edinburgh Residential, is retiring from the Partnership after more than 40 years’ service and Greig Baxter, Inverurie, is taking a step back from his Partnership role.

“We are absolutely delighted to say that both will remain with the business and will continue their long association with the firm as Consultants in the years ahead.”
