Sharon Lee, Kevin Johnson and Hayley Baker have all been promoted to partner and are based in Edinburgh, and Michael Buckley has been promoted to partner based in Glasgow.

Both Sharon Lee and Kevin Johnson work in Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice. Sharon joined the firm in 2002 and specialises in IT audit, with a broad range of experience across industries including financial services, retail, and pharmaceutical, while Kevin has over twenty years’ experience working in financial services audit and assurance.

Michael Buckley joined the firm as an assistant director in 2015. He advises technology focused private equity houses and their portfolio companies transacting in the UK and Europe on financial due diligence and broader M&A support. Hayley Baker joined Deloitte as a senior manager in 2016 and is part of Deloitte’s Human Capital Consulting team, leading and delivering major transformation programmes.

In Glasgow and Aberdeen, there have been four promotions to associate partner (a senior signing director) in Deloitte’s audit service line. Paul Cowley, Paul Hazelton, and Pat Kenny are based in Glasgow, while Lyn Cowie is based in Aberdeen. In addition, Nicola Walters has been promoted to senior director in Consulting, based in Edinburgh.

There have also been 18 new directors appointed, based across the three Scottish locations. This includes ten in Edinburgh, seven in Glasgow, and one in Aberdeen.

Overall, Deloitte has promoted 124 people to partner across the UK, a 57% increase from 2021. Deloitte also recruited an additional 30 external hires at partner level in the UK during the financial year from June 2021 to the end of May 2022. The number of UK partners overall now stands at 1218.
