Clydesdale reaches for the sky at the Cheesegrater
The Clydesdale Bank has become the latest tenant of London’s tallest office skyscraper — the Leadenhall Building better known as ‘the Cheesegrater’
Clydesdale has signed a 15-year lease on the 17,300 sq ft 15th floor of the building, British Land and Oxford Properties, which co-own the building, have revealed.
Lettings at the buildings up to 98 per cent - with just one 7,000 sq ft floor at the apex of the building available.
Firms now employ 4,800 workers at the iconic building.
No details of the rent being paid by Clydesdale are available but last month research by Knight Frank found that rents in London’s skyscrapers rose faster than any other city in the final six months of last year
