Chiene + Tait wins UK entrepreneurial tax adviser awards

For the third year in a row Chiene + Tait’s entrepreneurial team has been recognised for its outstanding performance in advising clients on entrepreneurial tax schemes.

The firm was once again ‘Highly Commended’ in the Best EIS/ SEIS Tax Adviser category at the prestigious EIS Association Awards in London this week, the only Scottish-based firm to be awarded for their work.

Neil Norman, entrepreneurial tax partner at Chiene + Tait, said: “I am delighted that our team continues to be recognised for its achievements in advising clients on EIS and SEIS tax reliefs. These are important schemes which help promote entrepreneurialism and fuel economic growth. We are therefore extremely pleased to receive this honour for the third consecutive year.”

Additionally, at the awards, Mr Norman was specifically recognised as having the best EIS Diploma result in the UK. Chiene + Tait’s Entrepreneurial Tax Team are all fully qualified or training towards the EIS Diploma, demonstrating their in-depth knowledge of this entrepreneur-focused tax relief.

The EIS Association Awards ‘denote excellence in a number of EIS/ SEIS fields.

The awards are presented to the company, firm, advisor, individual or any entity which has achieved outstanding performance in the context of the EIS/ SEIS schemes during 2017.
