Chiene + Tait launch female entrepreneur comp with £5,000 prize
Edinburgh accountants Chiene + Tait have teamed up with Investing Women and Napier University’s Bright Red Triangle team to deliver the AccelerateHER programme – a pitching competition.
The new competition invites female-led companies to pitch for £5,000 cash and other business support (including publicity for the winning company), with the winner to be announced by Scotland’s First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon.
AccelerateHER is part of the Investing Women Ambition and Growth conference, a brand-new event that brings together female angels and entrepreneurs for very valuable inspiration, help and networking.
Announcing the launch of the competition, Chiene + Tait said: “It’s a great opportunity for investors and businesses alike, and a unique addition to Scotland’s booming entrepreneurial scene.
“Our business is proud to work with business angels and entrepreneurs, directly helping Scotland’s economic growth. As part of this commitment, we always want to do more – AccelerateHER is just one of the many ways we can help. Check out our Business + Innovation page for more of what we do.
