Chiene + Tait appoints Stuart Beattie as new head of RSL
Chiene + Tait (C+T) has appointed social housing specialist accountant Stuart Beattie as its new head of RSL (Registered Social Landlords).
Mr Beattie joined Chiene + Tait in 2005 as a trainee and from that time has developed his expertise within the social housing sector, working with a broad range of clients from large cooperatives to small, community-focused housing groups. In recent years, Stuart and C+T Senior partner Jeremy Chittleburgh have led the growth of the firm’s RSL client base, especially across the West of Scotland.
Based at C+T’s headquarters in Edinburgh, Mr Beattie will be focused on further growing the firm’s presence across the RSL sector in his new role. He will also lead the team in delivering continued support of housing associations on post-Covid working structures, cyber security, stakeholder communications and financial management matters.
Jeremy Chittleburgh, C+T partner, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Stuart to this new, enhanced role as Head of RSL. Since joining the firm, he has shown a real passion and commitment in supporting housing association clients with their evolving needs. He is highly well-regarded and respected within the sector and I have no doubt he’ll thrive in this role.
Stuart Beattie said: “It’s been great to be part of this team over recent years where Chiene + Tait has established itself as a leading accountancy and business advisory firm in the RSL sector. I look forward to helping further grow our presence in the sector and supporting more housing groups across Scotland in managing the challenges of the post-Covid environment.”
