Chiene + Tait announces three Director promotions

Edinburgh-based accountancy firm Chiene + Tait (C+T) has announced the promotion of three colleagues to the role of director.

Iain Masterton, a VAT specialist who joined the firm six years ago, makes the upward move from his previous position as a senior manager.

Donna Morris, who came to C+T in 2003, becomes a director in the corporate tax team while Michelle Fallon becomes a tax director, focusing on the firm’s private client practice.

The promotions come on the back of the three individuals’ progress within C+T and the firm’s organic growth across its private client, corporate tax and VAT teams.

C+T’s managing partner, Carol Flockhart, said: “Iain, Donna and Michelle have all demonstrated their commitment to our clients and have contributed to the growth of the firm.

“Their skill as experienced and proven advisers will be required more than ever as core issues including Brexit, a potential second independence referendum and HMRC’s Making Tax Digital initiative develop in the months and years ahead.”
