Castlight Financial appoints new non executive advisor

Glasgow-based fintech firm Castlight Financial, which aggregates data from multiple sources to analyse disposable income and credit worthiness in real-time, has recruited internationally experienced business development entrepreneur, Jason O’Shaughnessy, as a non executive advisor to its board.

Mr O’Shaughnessy is head of business development for international at Versive, a Seattle-based company providing cyber security tools that automatically detect advanced cyber threats, combining innovative AI with human expertise.

Prior to his current role, he spent 15 years with Evestnet Yodlee, a data aggregation and data analytics platform, which provide innovative cloud-based services for financial services companies.



There he was responsible for developing markets outside of the US, building a strong presence for the company across nine countries and was a founder of Yodlee’s fintech business, back in 2009.

His CV is a testament to his talent and enthusiasm for growing businesses of all sizes and we are very excited by some of the ideas we have already been bouncing around the boardroom table. We are looking forward to Jason’s advice and input as we continue to develop our Affordability Passport and Categorisation as a Service (CaaS) products, so that both consumers and financial institutions can be assured they have the most incisive and most secure products on the market.”
